The Cavendish University Zambia Alumni

Welcome to Cavendish University Zambia. We are building a community of alumni. The Cavendish University Alumni Association is all about you!

About Us

CUZ Alumni Association was formed and is yet to be officially launched to Promote CUZ as an institution of academic excellence and to create and maintain an environment that encourages alumni participation through volunteerism, financial support and income generating activities that may benefit and run programmes that may be supplemental to the University under CSR.

Membership into the Cavendish University Alumni Association is automatic—you do not need to register.  The day you officially graduate you become a valuable member of the Alumni Association. Once you have officially transitioned to the status of an alumnus, you’ll gain access to important information about job opportunities, special guest lecture series and networking opportunities.  Additionally, Alumni can be selected as mentors, special guest speakers and lecturers for Cavendish University.

Trends in the Job Markets and Rethinking Skill Building!

Trends in the Job Markets and Rethinking Skill Building

By understanding the current trends in the Job markets, Leaders can expand impact by connecting skills to internal mobility and employee retention.

In the context of the Great Reshuffle — a period unlike anything in the history of work — organizations must prioritize enabling employees’ personal success through career development. Learning leaders can create more robust, sustainable programs by connecting skill building to career pathing, internal mobility, and retention. “We really need to change and think about more productive and sustainable ways to help connect talent to opportunity, and our view is that that’s going to be done through a skills-based approach.” Ryan Roslansky.

From the office of Employability and Careers, I am Chanda M.M. Erasto. I would like to say, my office is about Employability, which is about work and the ability to be employed. The ability to gain initial employment in ensuring that ‘key skills’ are acquired by our graduates is at the heart of what I do.

Therefore;

  • The Employability Office for the University is central to engaging students in careers and employability services and events via various channels of promotion and liaison. Therefore, the Employability and Careers Office is cardinal in supporting all University careers and employability activities designed to transform and inspire students to reach their full potential in Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Ethical Leadership.
