Welcome to the Cavendish University Zambia (CUZ) School of Arts, Education and Social Sciences (AESS). The academic staff of the School of AESS are a team of serious scholars who are committed to lifelong learning and research, and to ensuring that their students learn how to learn, and how to think critically and lead. The School of AESS transforms students into competent professionals and leaders in the arts, humanities, education and social sciences. All programmes emphasize the deployment of modern technologies in problem solving and lifelong learning.     Eligibility Criteria:

    The pre-requisite to the Programme is a Bachelor Degree from any recognized university.

    Duration: Minimum 18 Months and Maximum 2 years



    Bachelor of Education




    The programme has the following teaching subjects:

    Bachelor of Arts with Education (Civic Education and Religion) (English and Geography) (Mathematics and Religion) (Mathematics and English) (Mathematics and Geography) (Mathematics and Civic Education) (English and Civic Education)(Religion and English) (Commerce and Accounts)(Mathematics & ICT).

    Eligibility Criteria:

    The pre-requisites to the programme is a Full Grade Twelve Certificate or Advanced Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Institution.

    Credits: 1200

    Duration: Minimum 4 years and Maximum 6 years



    Bachelor of Mass Communication and Public Relations




    The minimum entry requirements for admission is a full grade 12 certificate with five O’level credits including Mathematics and English.

    Credits: 1486

    Duration: Minimum 4 Years and Maximum 6 years



    Bachelor of Development Studies – BDS




    Eligibility Criteria:

    The pre-requisites to the programme is a Full Grade Twelve Certificate Or Advanced Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Institution.
