ADMISSION PROCEDURE

To be admitted to pursue a programme at CUZ, applicants must satisfy the University's minimum entry requirement for that particular programme. Details of these requirements may be found within the descriptions for each course prospectus.

Selection  Procedure.

FIRST STEP

A complete application consists of: the application form itself, transcripts, application fee, and in some cases a candidate who submits an application for admission may be subjected to an admissions interview. Application fee is ZMW120 and can be deposited in the CUZ bank account and the deposit slip submitted to the CUZ Accounts Office as you submit the application form.

SECOND STEP

The Admissions Committee considers numerous factors, including work experience, academic history, recommendations, personal interview and the body of the application itself. One of the most important prerequisites for Undergraduate programmes is a full grade twelve certificate with five credits or better. Mature entry applicants will normally be interviewed to assess their suitability for the programme.

For the Postgraduate applications however work experience, including a candidate’s work history and current role and responsibilities in their organisation may play a critical role. The minimum qualification is a First Degree or professional qualification in a relevant field.

THIRD STEP

After assessment a decision is made and the applicant is required to check with Customer Service for feedback within a week of applying. The acceptance letter will contain information relating to the Programme name, Fees, payment procedures and exemptions (if any)

FOURTH STEP

Actual Enrollment is done when a student pays the minimum fees requirements and a student number is allocated to them.
